Distance between the starting position and the finishing point: 7 km (sunset option, cca 4.3 mi)
Suitable for: Our sea kayaking tours are accessible to people of all ages and require a reasonable level of fitness. No prior experience is necessary. A basic fitness level is needed, as some paddling is involved.
Minimum Age: 8 years (children aged 5-7 can share a seat with a parent)
How and when?
The tour begins at our meeting point and lasts for approximately 2 hours. A guide will accompany the tour in their own kayak. The route starts from Pile Bay, passes near Lokrum Island (without stopping), and includes a break for snorkeling at Betina Cave, which is accessible only from the sea. The tour then paddles back along the walled city towards the starting point.
The price includes a tour guide, kayak, paddle, life jacket, snorkeling gear, fruit snack, and a bottle of water.
Please note that booking is required for this tour, but you can book on the same day or a few hours before the start time.
Meet your guide at the meeting point 20 minutes before the start to ensure we can begin paddling on time. Look for our orange umbrella.
Included in your Sunset Kayaking adventure are kayaking gear, snorkeling mask, large waterproof barrel for personal items, life jacket, insurance, fruit snack, 0.5L water and a glass of wine.
Your experienced English speaking guide will take you to visit the Betina cave/beach (if the weather conditions allow).
Don’t forget to bring flip flops or water shoes, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, swimsuit, t-shirt, towel, and be ready for a memorable experience on the Adriatic sea!

Weather Conditions
In case of hazardous weather, we may cancel the booking without prior notice. Our guides may also adjust the route as needed. If weather conditions are unfavorable, we will offer you the following options:
a) Reschedule the tour
b) Exchange the kayaking booking for one of our walking tours
c) Receive a full refund

Tour Recommendations
This tour is not recommended for:
– Participants with back problems (!)
– Participants with heart issues or other serious medical conditions (!)
– Pregnant women (!)
– Participants prone to seasickness (!)
– Non-swimmers (!)
Cancellation Policy
– Full refund for cancellations made up to 24 hours before the tour.
– No refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour.
Note:
The cancellation policy applies to all participants (NO exceptions), including those who do not complete the tour for whatever reason.
As the activity takes place on the sea, paddling is required. Participants sent back by the guide for slowing down the group are not entitled to a refund.
In case you damage a kayak, you will be charged for the repair. Thank you for your understanding.
